Dark Wine Spritzer

Prep time: a few minutes
Total time: a few minutes
Makes 2 drinks

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup homemade sour mix (recipe follows) or lime cordial
  • 2/3-1 cup sparkling water
  • 1/2 cup dark wine

Method:

Fill a Collins glass or any other tall glass (just like a juice glass!) with a number of ice. Lightly stir 1/4 cup sour mix and 1/3-1/2 cup sparkling water into each glass. Top each with 1/4 cup dark wine should you pour lightly, your wine will float on the top from the soda, gradually bleeding in to the cocktail because the ice melts.

Homemade Sour Mix

Makes about 1 cup

Ingredients:
