Bacon wrapped baked potato recipe
Ingredients
  • 2 large Idaho taters (about 1/2 pound each)
  • 12 slices bacon (3/4 pound)
  • 2 cups canola oil
  • two tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped scallions, white-colored and a few eco-friendly
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Kosher salt and freshly cracked pepper
Directions

Cut each potato lengthwise into 6 wedges. Wrap each wedge having a slice of bacon and secure each finish having a toothpick. Put the oil and potato wedges inside a large saute pan-the oil may come a minimum of midway in the sides from the taters. Over medium heat, prepare the potato wedges until tender, turning from time to time, about twenty minutes. Boost the heat to high and prepare before the bacon is crisp. three to five minutes. Transfer to some paper towel-lined plate to empty .

In a tiny bowl, mix the melted butter, honey. scallions, parsley. 1/4 teaspoon pepper and salt to taste.

Carefully take away the toothpicks in the potato wedges and transfer the taters to some platter. Drizzle using the melted-butter mixture.
