No bake protein cookie dough recipe

I’ve been certainly one of individuals individuals who prefer to eat cookie dough having a spoon than wait so that it is a part of cookies. So when that cookie dough is actually full of protein, full of fiber, vegan (no raw eggs to bother with!), and free of processed sugar—then why don't you, right?

You may can remember the Healthy No-Bake Cookie Dough Bites which i shared here on LC.com some time back. It is among my very favorite recipes which i make whenever I’m craving a sweet treat to eat. Well recently, I’d been seeing chickpea ‘cookie dough’ recipes appearing throughout Pinterest. and that i understood I needed to test out this new healthy treat too. The Protein Cookie Dough that resulted is basically the very same recipe as my Healthy No-Bake Cookie Dough Bites. The only real difference is the fact that I replaced the cashews and oatmeal with chickpeas and peanut butter—making this version greater in fiber and protein compared to original.

I chose to make this whenever we were altogether at our last Team LC photo shoot and Lauren was especially skeptical which i might make chickpeas taste anything remotely like cookie dough. But even she'd to confess it switched out pretty tasty! Here’s steps to make it…

Protein Cookie Dough

  • 1 15-oz. can of chickpeas
  • cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 Tablespoons of agave syrup
  • 1 Tablespoons of walnut syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • cup chocolates chips or sweet cacoa nibs
  1. Combine chickpeas, peanut butter, agave, walnut, and vanilla inside a mixer and blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer your “dough” right into a mixing bowl and stir in chocolate ships by hands.
  3. Chill within the fridge or freezer until cold. Note:This treat tastes far better chilled than at 70 degrees.

Will you give this healthy treat a go?

Don’t knock chickpea cookie dough before you check it out!
