Wonderful. A crispy Parmesan crust with great flavor with simply a couple of ingredients. An easy and quick weeknight recipe with weekend appeal. This can be a standard within our home.


It’s time for you to eat more fish. I have to and you do too. But simpler stated than can be done. This can be a slight modification of the Rachel Ray recipe. I required the rest of the coating and stacked it on the top following the initial coating and gave more detail.

A 5 for any fish person. Absolutely wonderful.

Preheat oven to 400 levels convection. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Wash and pat dry tilapia.

Mix Parmesan, paprika, parsley, pepper and salt inside a shallow pan.

Brush tilapia with oil on sides after which dredge within the Parmesan mixture patting the coating on. Put on the baking sheet. Take remaining Parmesan mixture and pat on the top from the already coated fish. Bake for around 12 minutes until flaky.

I truly don’t know. The coating would obviously be fine. The fish will have to be not frozen. If thicker than tilapia, I'd reduce the temp some but boost the time some.

Would you use melted butter or perhaps an egg wash rather from the oil? I'd think it might help then add more flavor.
