I chose to make this recipe as directed for brand new Years Eve. It had been good, but not really great when i might have expected because of the reviews. The pastry covering did not quite crisp, and so i think the next time I'll make use of the egg wash a couple of reviewers recommended. Also, the top rind tended to break down because the cheese was consumed. I needed to keep cutting away in internet marketing to ensure that visitors could consume the cheese for the back. I believe the next time I recommend cutting just the top rind off.

I am surprised this recipe is really popular! Each one of the ingredients is scrumptious individually however the ingredients just aren't effective well together. It was beautiful if this left the oven and that i was very positive after i place it out in my New Years Eve visitors. Regrettably, this dish was VERY GREASY, almost oily and slimy. It did not hold its shape and merely lay around the plate just like a great oily blob. If Zero Stars have been available, I'd have selected that option.
