Love this recipe. Easy and scrumptious. In mention of the other comments, this soup is going to be thick or thin with respect to the size taters you use. If you like your soup around the thicker side like chowder, use large taters or give a couple of greater than what's known as for. When the soup is simply too thick, increase the stock. I love to prepare in the bacon first then caramelize the onion in bacon grease before contributing to the soup base within the crock. This recipe is simple to change making your personal.
