String beans recipe pinoy puto
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic clove, peeled and minced
  • 1 thumb-sized ginger root, peeled and minced
  • ½ pound ground pork
  • two tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • two tablespoons soy sauce
  • two tablespoons water
  • 1 pound eco-friendly beans, ends trimmed and cut thinly on the bias
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and julienned
  • pepper and salt to taste
  1. Inside a wok or wide skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add onions, garlic clove and ginger root. Prepare until limp and aromatic. Add ground pork and prepare, entering pieces with back of spoon, until gently browned. Drain excess oil when needed.
  2. Inside a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, water and brown sugar. Stir until blended and sugar is dissolved. Increase ground pork and then prepare until sauce is slightly reduced.
  3. Increase heat to high. Add eco-friendly beans and carrots. Still prepare, stirring regularly, for around two to three minutes or until vegetables are tender yet crisp. Season with salt to taste and generously with pepper. Serve hot.
