Ingredients
- 1 fresh beef brisket (3 pounds)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- two tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons corn starch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Directions
- Cut brisket in two devote a 5-qt. slow oven. Combine the barbecue sauce, onion, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, pepper and salt pour over beef. Cover and prepare on low for six-7 hrs or until meat is tender.
- Remove beef and warm. Transfer cooking juices to some large saucepan provide a boil. Combine corn starch and water until smooth. Progressively stir into pan. Provide a boil prepare and stir for just two minutes or until thickened. Slice meat over the grain serve with gravy. Yield: 6 servings.
Editor's Note: This can be a fresh beef brisket, not corned beef.
