- Inside a mixer, blitz the shallots, garlic clove, lengthy red chillies, both turmerics, ginger root, galangal and tamarind until it forms a tough paste.
- Heat the vegetable oil inside a large pan on the medium heat. Stir within the paste and also the lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, season with pepper and salt, and prepare for five minutes.
- Add some beef pieces and prepare for ten minutes, or until they start to brown, stirring to make certain the meat is coated within the paste.
- Stir within the coconut milk, pop around the lid, and simmer on the low heat for 1–1 hrs, or before the meat is tender and also the sauce has thickened.
- Serve with steamed grain and fried crispy shallots, the red chilli slices scattered outrageous.
