Orange teriyaki beef stew recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Reynolds® Oven Bag, Large Size
  • two tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 pound beef top round roast, 1-inch thick
  • Hot cooked grain (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced eco-friendly onions

Directions

  1. Shake flour in Reynolds® Oven Bag devote 13x9x2-inch or bigger baking pan a minimum of 2 " deep.
  2. Add orange juice, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, garlic clove, orange peel and crushed red pepper to oven bag. Squeeze bag to combine in flour. Add beef to bag. Turn bag to coat beef with sauce.
  3. Close oven bag with nylon tie. Marinate beef in refrigerator 1 1/2 to two hrs.
  4. Preheat oven to 325F. Cut six 1/2-inch slits in surface of oven bag. Tuck ends of bag in pan.
  5. Bake 35 to forty-five minutes or until meat thermometer reads 145F (don't overcook). Thinly slice beef. Stir sauce serve with grain, if preferred. Sprinkle with sliced eco-friendly onions. Yield: 8 servings.
