Beef brisket recipe barbecue sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh beef brisket (3 pounds)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • two tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Directions

  1. Cut brisket in two devote a 5-qt. slow oven. Combine the barbecue sauce, onion, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, pepper and salt pour over beef. Cover and prepare on low for six-7 hrs or until meat is tender.
  2. Remove beef and warm. Transfer cooking juices to some large saucepan provide a boil. Combine corn starch and water until smooth. Progressively stir into pan. Provide a boil prepare and stir for just two minutes or until thickened. Slice meat over the grain serve with gravy. Yield: 6 servings.

Editor's Note: This can be a fresh beef brisket, not corned beef.
