Strawberry Jam without any commercial pectin.

This can be a quite simple recipe for strawberry jam. Bananas and sugar. that's it. Combine this jam along with other fruit jams for gourmet gourmet gift baskets. This can be a small batch recipe.  It just makes 5 - 1/2 pints. (that's 5 half pint jars)

It's very tempting to double this recipe for strawberry jam making more. I more often than not do.  Yet it's hard to make double batches of jam. If you wish to make more at any given time (I do not blame you) only have two batches going simultaneously in numerous containers.
