Strawberry shortcake trifle recipe from the bloggers
Ingredients
  • 1 large angel food cake
  • For that custard:
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • For that glaze:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin (suggested: Jell-O)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups fresh bananas, decline in 1/2 (if berries are huge, they may be reduce quarters)
  • Whole fresh bananas and mint leaves, for garnish
Directions
For that glaze:

Slice cake, utilizing a serrated knife, horizontally into 3 equal layers.

For that custard:

Mix together cream cheese, condensed milk, and whipped topping inside a bowl put aside.

For that glaze:

Inside a medium saucepan. stir together sugar, corn starch, and gelatin add water. Prepare stirring over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat and permit to awesome completely. Fold in bananas.

For set up:

Place 1 layer of cake inside a large obvious bowl. Top having a layer of glaze, adopted with a layer of custard mixture. Repeat layering within this order for remaining cake, glaze and custard. Top cake with 3 whole fresh bananas and fresh mint leaves.
