I had been lately sent the brand new Taste of Home Most Liked Recipes cook book. It is filled with 1,485 different recipes that vary from elegant and gourmet to comforting and straightforward. I've had a lot of fun searching through this cook book, studying the recipes, and searching in the tempting photos. I needed to create my children a unique after school snack however i didn’t seem like visiting the supermarket and so i looked through this book to determine things i may find. I discovered this turnover recipe which was quick, easy, and on top of that, I'd all of the ingredients on hands&... you are able to’t beat that. These were fun to create plus they gave my children the greatest smile once they walked with the door and saw these warm turnovers awaiting them. I believe I could just be a fairly awesome mother to them today. Just great cook book Taste of Home !

Preheat the oven to 375 levels. Line a baking sheet having a silpat pad.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into four squares put them around the silpat pad lined baking sheet. Press the seams and perforations together by pinching them. Spoon singleOr4 cup of cake filling out the corner of every square. Fold to create triangles pinch the edges to close then press them lower having a fork.

Put into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Prepare the frosting as the turnovers are baking. Combine the sugar, milk, and vanilla together. Drizzle the frosting within the warm turnovers.

These cherry turnovers would be best when offered immediately. Enjoy.
