It was my very first time ever to create bread with yeast I have only attempted the sweet breads before that do not require yeast (i.e. blueberry bread, pumpkin bread). I did not know what to anticipate so far as flavor, but extremely pleased using the result. The squash does not add any flavor towards the bread it comes down out tasting such as the plain loaves that my mother made in your own home within my childhood, however it certainly causes it to be more moist than the usual regular bread recipe. And That I like understanding that I am getting my DH & DD to consume more veggies! I have didn't have challah, and so i can't compare that because the other reviewers did. Overall, this was a easy recipe to follow along with, and tastes excellent.

I have to admit mtss is a very forgiving recipe. Managed to get yesterday within my mixer. To create a very lengthy story short. Did everything & had place the dough into bowl for first rise,after i discovered I'd flour remaining & hadn't make the milk. And So I required DOUGH from the bowl make the milk & remaning flour mix again, put back to bowl for that rise, then into pans, rise again then baked. YAHOO. BREAD WAS PERFECT. So for individuals who aren't bakers this really is "IT". bread was very tender & "WONDERFUL. Even f you get it wrong do not worry. I am 74, & an excellent bake. PLEASE Check It Out. Pat in Tucson

This bread is both scrumptious and delightful. It jogs my memory of brioche, only simpler to create. It had been moist without having to be saturated or mushy by any means (what sort of quick bread can). It had been a great, simple yeasty bread with simply the smallest hint of sweetness. This recipe is certainly a keeper. Personally, i had trouble obtaining the loaf to leave the (greased) pan, so the next time, I anticipate lining the pan with parchment paper.
