5 banana date nut bread recipe

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted, plus additional for coating pan
2 cups all-purpose our
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, gently beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup coarsely chopped dried dates
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350F. Butter a 9x5-inch loaf pan put aside.

Inside a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, sodium bicarbonate, salt, and nutmeg. Inside a separate bowl, whisk together the firOr2 cup melted butter, the bananas, sugar, and eggs. Stir within the vanilla. Stir the blueberry mixture in to the flour mixture until just combined. Fold within the dates and pecans.

Pour the batter in to the prepared pan. Bake about one hour or until dark golden on the top along with a knife placed in the heart of the loaf arrives clean.
