Easy monkey bread recipe with 1 can of biscuits

Work continues to be crazy the final couple of days. I have been leading a culinary tourism campaign (awesome, right?!) that links local restaurants to producers and growers locally. It'll highlight restaurants which are already serving local, and encourage restaurants that aren't. I'm excited to determine where this project goes!

This is actually the website I have been focusing on. It launched yesterday, one of the reasons I have been so busy! Writing content and designing an internet site on your own isn't any joke.

Local around the Menu

All of this work has not left me enough time for baking. I desired a simple dessert one evening, and so i found this Monkey Bread recipe that is made of a can of biscuits. and i'm not ashamed.

You simply create a cinnamon sugar mixture, then melt some butter.

I generate a little station with my bowl of melted butter, cinnamon sugar along with a loaf pan. Cut the biscuits into quarters, dip the pieces in melted butter then roll them in cinnamon sugar. You heard that right.

Fall into line individuals little special gems inside a loaf pan. You'll most likely finish up placing a couple of pieces on the top from the lower layer. unless of course you consume them obviously. I am just saying.

It bakes up superbly. The melted butter caramelizes the sugar and helps to create this gooey center just dripping having a syrup-y cinnamon glaze. I am talking about you can easily imagine what biscuits dunked in melted butter tastes like. It's unmanageable.

I set this pan of goodness out for the weekly movie night. Everyone was just picking the pieces from the pan on and on to town.

I believe I love this recipe a lot since the only factor I do not keep stocked within my kitchen may be the can of biscuits, therefore it is quite simple simply to go out and obtain one factor inside a pinch. So should you prefer a quite simple dessert you may make in a couple of minutes, this is an excellent one.

3/4 cup sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/3 cup melted butter
1 can buttermilk biscuits (I made use of Pillsbury)
Cooking spray

Heat oven to 400 levels. Spray your loaf pan and hang aside. In normal size bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon and blend well. Separate dough into individual biscuits after which cut them into quarters. Dip each quarter within the melted butter, then roll it in cinnamon sugar mixture. Arrange within the loaf pan. You might finish up placing a couple of pieces on the top from the lower layer.

Bake for 15-18 minutes and let awesome 2-3 minutes so the sugar does not burn you. At this time, you are able to release the perimeters and put the entire loaf on the serving platter. Or allow it to awesome a couple of more minutes and serve it from the loaf pan.
