Bread machine chocolate brioche recipe

Bread machine chocolate brioche recipe

My kids love chocolate nick brioches right now, but because they are quite costly to purchase, I decided to try which makes them myself. I discovered various traditional brioche recipes, however they looked a faff, as you are designed to fold in extra butter after showing the dough (as if you do when creating croissants or flaky pastry). I made the decision to try bunging all things in the bread machine to determine what can happen.

I had been quite happy with the outcomes when i were able to produce lovely fluffy brioches with less fat and sugar than present in most traditional recipes.
  • 8oz/200g strong plain bread flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • milk
  • 2 oz/50g butter, reduce small pieces
  • 2-4oz/50-100g choc chips
  • 3 tablespoons of caster sugar
  • 1 sachet fast action dried yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Crack the eggs right into a calculating jug/cup. Top to the 5fl oz/150ml mark with milk.
Add all the ingredients, except the choc chips towards the breadmaker pan.
Focused on the dough setting and then leave to operate.
If this has finished showing, knock the dough back by briefly beginning the dough setting again. Add some choc chips.
Steer clear of the bread machine when the choc chips happen to be included.
Cut the dough into 10-12 small pieces (it will likely be sticky, try not to add any other flour.)
Roll into balls and pop each ball right into a portion of a properly greased muffin tin.
Cover loosely with clingfilm and permit to increase for any further an hour.
Brush with milk.
Bake at 200C/190C Fan/Gas 6 for 10-fifteen minutes until golden brown.
Remove in the oven and permit to awesome for a few minutes, before loosening having a knife and turning out onto a wire rack to awesome fully.

Appropriate for freezing.

Alternative: Add raisins or any other dried fruit rather from the choc chips, for any slightly healthier version.

Great recipe. My 9 years old loves brioche. I'll be making these today.

Certainly likely to try these - I'm not quite a domestic goddess so love the thought of letting my breadmaker perform the work :-)

I think you'll both like them.

I made these last night plus they arrived on the scene brilliantly, despite me failing to remember about the subject and departing them within the breadmaker for an additional hour. They've all been eaten already though, so might have to have more soon!

Thanks greatly for the comment. I really like hearing your thinking, so please be assured that genuine comments and competition records is going to be visible after approval. This might take 24-48 hrs, for the way hectic my work/home existence is at that time!
