The wedding cake was minimalist too, without any embellishments yet looked elegant, just generate income prefer my cakes thanks. It looked so simple which i thought hey, I makes it too.
The feel from the cake was perfect, a tenOr10. Moist, delicate, soft, heavenly. If only I possibly could get my cakes right like this. I'm puzzled that this type of famous cake isn't more chocolaty in flavor. When the cake isn't as salty and also the chocolate flavor better, I'd say Lana's CFC is an excellent cake.
Still, all of us (including my in-laws and regulations) valued the wedding cake, keeping 1 / 2 of it to ensure that we're able to go back home (i was eating at Sushi Tei) and also have coffee by using it.
Next time I visit Singapore, I'll consume the Lana CFC and also the Awfully Chocolate choc cake simultaneously and choose what's best.

I've had Lana's CFC on several occasions, although a long time ago, and that i never got why these were locked in such high esteem.
The feel and mouth-feel from the cakes were too soft, moist and insipid in my liking. Additionally they lacked the wealthy, velvety, chocolatey flavour their name conveys.
Roughmetaphors, you're correct. I've attempted the stated chocolate cake and didnt think it had been anything great. The wedding cake is simply too soft and moist, the frosting only agreed to be FAIL. no chocolate taste, not velvety like it ought to be.
Such cakes will often have lots of improver or softener or enhancer added as well as for me, that isn't Proficient At ALL as my girl cannot take such factor.
The wedding cake didnt produce that Ooomph feel whenever I consume a good chocolate cake. I rather consume a not too great homemade chocolate cake anytime..
I've compared Lana, Awfully Chocolate and Jane's Cake Station throughout a very short time.
