Unlike most foods, cake can't be eaten being an item within the hotbar. Prior to being eaten, it has to first go on the top of the block.
Unlike the eating of other foods, eating a slice of cake is immediate (a whole cake could be eaten as quickly as possible clicked) and will not make any seem. Multiple players can eat in the same cake simultaneously.
Like a redstone component, when linked to a comparator. an entire cake emits an indication strength of 14. The signal strength decreases two units with every bite of cake until it's gone.

Interaction Edit
- Since cake is just 7/8 blocks wide, you'll be able to get up on the advantage of the block beneath a cake.
- Cake will destroy falling blocks if placed directly under them, much like a torch .
- You'll be able to place cake on the top of cake by putting a cake on the floor, then placing another cake along the side of a block above and aside from the first cake, much like placing torches on the chest.
