Wedding cake cookies archway recipe for stuffed
Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, and several for dusting
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, 70 degrees
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 extra-large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
  • Royal icing, fondant, or cookie glaze, for decorating
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 levels F.

Inside a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder. Inside a large mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar having a hands mixer until fluffy, a couple of minutes. Add some eggs, 1 at any given time. Add some vanilla and blend well. Add some flour mixture and blend having a spatula until a ball of dough forms. Transfer dough to some well floured work surface and decline in half. Place waxed paper over 1 / 2 of the dough and unveil to around 1/4-inch thick. Transfer another 1 / 2 of the dough towards the refrigerator to help keep cold until available. Using cookie cutters, cut the dough into various shapes and set on the parchment lined cookie sheet. Repeat using the partner from the dough. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes. Leave around the cookie sheet to awesome. Decorate with royal icing. fondant. or cookie glaze.
