Secret recipe cake name plaques

A reputation plaque put on the leading of the beautiful cake creation adds an immediate touch of chic to the cake design. It’s fast over-taking lettering around the cake board (using the birthday girl or boy’s name) because the final touch of preference among a few of the world’s top cake artists.

Sugar plaques can be created using only a simple round, oblong cutter or garret frill cutter. Formed plaque cutters with increased detailed borders are available in the local cake decorating store. The gorgeous cakes above are by Couture Cupcakes Australia (above left) and Torta Couture Cakes (above right), as the stunning cakes here are also by Couture Cupcakes (Australia).

Also, even though it is most likely pretty apparent to many (it wasn’t regrettably for Cake Geek whenever we first attempted this!), incorperate your lettering or piping towards the plaque Once you’ve guaranteed it aside from the cake (not before, or else you’ll create a mess of the beautiful piping/lettering.)

The Couture Cupcakes cake includes a pretty doile plaque which you'll make using a piping nozzle/tip to chop out circles in the frilled fringe of plaque cut utilizing a garret frill cutter.
