Secret Recipe lately launched a campaign of RM10 for any set meal, dine in just. I suppose you've most likely received it inside your email or see clearly from forums. From things i first viewed it was perfectly received, especially among ladies. To tell the truth, the idea of eating at Secret Recipe never really entered my thoughts since it’s expensive. Anyway, yesterday I made the decision to own promotion a go.
A slice of Chocolate Blueberry cake @ RM6.30 as appetizer prior to the meals arrive. This is among my personal favorite cakes!
There are just 3 selections for the chicken primary course: pepper, BBQ and mushroom sauce. These cost RM13.50 each and includes some salad and grain. The BBQ Chicken tastes such as the Chinese sweet and sour chicken. didn’t really had any BBQ flavor. ‘Gu lou yuk fan’ maybe also taste better :P
The set meal includes a glass of iced lemon tea, that amounted to RM5 if purchased ala carte. Nothing special concerning the Mushroom Chicken. and also the meat was dry. The wedding cake was the best through the whole meal lol. And bear in mind that RM10 isn't the nett cost for that promotion, as it doesn't range from the 10% service and 5% government tax. My calculations figured it’s about 40% discount around the food, if all purchased ala carte.
I felt the service tax was kinda undeserving since the staff would be a less friendly coupled with this sour face when serving us. Just For your information I dined at Jusco’s Secret Recipe in Seri Kembangan. And from things i read within the forums, some outlets can also be out-of-stock for that promotion. So, better ask first prior to going in lol. Ok last one, really you don’t need to print this voucher out too. They didn’t bother to determine mine )
