Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
  • 1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 chocolate crumb crust (8 inches)
  • 1/4 cup baking cacao
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry cake filling

Directions

  1. Inside a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Fold in whipped topping. Spread 1 / 2 of the mix evenly into crust. Fold cacao and confectioners' sugar into remaining whipped topping mixture carefully spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate not less than 4 hrs.
  2. Reduce slices top each slice with cherry cake filling. Yield: 8 servings.
