Chili Cheese Dog Mac n' Cheese

I understand many people be put off by using convenience food, and that is ok - I've other posts you might love. ) If only I'd the persistence and time for you to prepare strictly on your own - however i don't - my existence is simply too hectic sometimes - and I am guessing there are a number of other families having the same problem as me. I'd favour meals which are semi-homemade versus striking the drive-through. and so i make certain I've stuff that are simple to make. )
I created this recipe a couple of years back after i intended on making regular chili dogs - ya be aware of kind with hotdogs and chili sauce on buns - however i didn't remember the buns. I'd certainly one of individuals "a-ha moments" and wondered basically could just mix the chili dogs into the mac and cheese i was getting quietly - and merely skip the buns altogether. 2 boxes (7.25 oz. each) Mac and Cheese dinner
1 lb. lean hamburger
Pepper and salt, to taste
1 small onion, chopped
1 pkg. (14-16 oz.) hotdogs, chopped
A couple of shakes of Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons of. chili powder
2 teaspoon. cumin
8 oz. tomato sauce
8 oz. can water (make use of the empty tomato sauce can)
½ cup (1 stick) butter
½ cup milk
Bring a sizable pot water to some boil. Take away the cheese packets from both boxes of mac and cheese and hang them aside. Once the water involves a boil, prepare the mac and cheese dinners based on package directions. Drain.
Meanwhile, inside a large skillet, prepare and crumble the beef using the salt, pepper, onion and hotdogs before the beef is not pink. Drain if required. Return the mix towards the skillet. (I love ours the consistency of Sloppy Joe's, but make yours how you enjoy it).
Following the pasta continues to be drained, give it back towards the pan and add some butter, milk and cheese powder. Stir to mix. Add some chili dog sauce towards the mac and cheese and stir well. Serve.

Hey first of all anybody who doesn't have 5+ kids doesn't have that even blue boxes require effort because of volume! Anything the children could make themselves is really a double win in my opinion, thanks or discussing Jamie
