Finally a minimal carb pancake that's light, fluffy and tastes great. I needed to make two more batches because my spouse and i couldn't get an adequate amount of them!
OMG, many thanks. Watching carbs and so i haven't were built with a pancake by 50 percent several weeks due to the starch. Although this would be a bit different in texture, still it satisfied that longing for round, slightly crisp breakfasty goodness. I made use of sour cream, as that's things i been on the fridge, light flax meal, and that i did give a packet of splenda for this batter. I allow it to take a little without stirring, when i wanted it to thicken although not become glue like lots of flax batters do should you over mix. Offered with agave which i flavored with walnut extract. I acquired 4 huge pancakes and something smallish one inch this, so It's nearly ideal for 2 people. Can get the ricotta the next time to determine the way it compares. Many thanks. -) UPDATE 1/2014: Used Ricotta and instead of sweetener added one scoop cookies and cream protein powder. Added 4 carbs towards the whole batch, but got 6 big pancakes by doing this as well as added 25 grams protein towards the batch.
Wow, they were great! Very simple and quick recipe to follow along with. I capped mine with plain greek yogurt and sugar-free walnut syrup. I did not have fruit on hands. Thanks.
