Switched out perfectly, sampled great. To folks who reported graininess/grittiness, that always happens if you use lowfat dairy. It's absolutely nothing to do considering the variety of flour within the recipe. I designed a half batch of the with part dairy and part heavy cream, omitting the onion since i hate chopping them, and everybody loved it.
Oh Boy. It was awesome. My children loved it too! It was an excellent base to some awesome cheese sauce. I added some salt, garlic clove powder, cumin, and a little cayenne. Then also added some chopped jalepenos, plus some from the jalepeno juice also it was AWESOME! I made use of this to create loaded nachos. With taco meat, then your cheese sauce, fresh onion, and a few avacado! Appreciate posting this type of great recipe!
So tasty! Its a great base as stated by others, I added some pepper and salt some red pepper flakes for many spice, garlic clove powder and salsa into it also it virtually tastes such as the tostitos nacho dip in the store. I'll certainly allow it to be again as well as for entertaining later on.
