Copycat augusta pimento cheese recipe

It's Masters Week! The Masters golf tournament is a huge event at our home. Chicken Legs clears his schedule and watches the whole tournament. This season they're even televising the putting eco-friendly and driving range. Masters overload!

A couple of years back i was sufficiently fortunate to get tickets for 2 times of the practice models. It had been a lot fun. The program is amazingly beautiful. Probably the most unique facets of The Masters would be that the food and beverages are super cheap. Four people ate lunch for just $20. That's uncommon in a sports event.

The conventional food in the Masters is egg salad sandwiches and pimento cheese sandwiches. I've shared my kicked-up form of The Masters egg salad. and so i made the decision I desired to own pimento cheese a whirl. It switched out great and it is quite simple to create. The pimento cheese is excellent on the sandwich (a la Augusta) or on crackers.

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, 70 degrees
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic clove salt
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella dairy product
  • 1/2 cup diced pimentos

Whip cream cheese until smooth. Include mayonnaise, sour cream, and garlic clove salt. Whip until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate half an hour, or until prepared to serve.
