  • 14 ounces wheat grains elbow macaroni (or any other pasta)
  • 6 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 16 ounces sirloin steak, reduce small pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic clove, minced
  • two tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 4 tablespoons flour (may use wheat grains)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup water or broth (only when needed)
  • a container or a couple of Barefoot Malbec for serving
  1. Pasta: Prepare the pasta based on package directions. Drain and hang aside (toss with oil to avoid sticking).
  2. Steak: Melt two tablespoons butter inside a large, sturdy skillet over medium low heat. Still heat the butter until it's barely browned (this just provides it with more flavor). Turn heat as much as medium high and add some steak pieces - don't stir or shake for 30-45 seconds. Switch the steak pieces and prepare for an additional few minutes, before the steak is completed the way you like. Remove from heat and warm.
  3. Sauce: Melt the rest of the butter over medium heat. Add some garlic clove and parsley - saute for 1 minute, fostering to not burn or brown the garlic clove. Add some flour and salt - saute for an additional few minutes. Add some milk gradually, whisking to include using the flour/butter mixture. Simmer for 10-fifteen minutes before the sauce is bubbling and it has thickened slightly. Add some cheese and stir until melted.
  4. Set up: Stir the pasta along with the cheese sauce and add some steak. Stir in extra water or broth when the consistency requires a little scaling down. Season with increased pepper and salt, or maybe you are really awesome, drizzle truffle oil within the whole factor. OMG Used to do that. Serve having a glass of wealthy, velvety Barefoot Malbec!
