- 250 gm Whole Black lentils
- cup Tamarind pulp
- 2 tablespoon Sanbhar Masala
- 2 tablespoon Jaggery
- 1 teaspoon Crushed pepper
- 1 teaspoon Crushed red pepper
- cup Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- teaspoon heaped Fenugreek seeds
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- Coriander leaves, as needed
- 2-3 Eco-friendly Chilies
Masoor Daal Nayyab: Cooking Directions
- To begin with, take cup tamarind pulp, add 2 tablespoon sanbhar Masala and a pair of tablespoon jaggery inside it and blend them well form a thick mixture.
- Then, take ingredients e.g. 1 teaspoon crushed pepper, I teaspoon crushed red pepper, 1 tablespoon sesame seeds and teaspoon heaped fenugreek seeds to dry roast (roast without oil) inside a pan and grind them finely.
- On the other hand, have a pot and prepare the daal masoor with 2 glasses of water till it's tender.
- Have a pan, hot up oil, add mustard seeds inside it, prepare for two to three minutes, adding prepared combination of tamarind pulp with salt and lastly add daal masoor. Prepare them for additional ten minutes till daal begins to leave oil.
- For garnishing, sprinkle some fresh coriander and eco-friendly chilies on daal.
