Shev bhaji recipe maharashtrian chicken

The recipe of spicy gravy with sev is known as as Shev Bhaji in Marathi. After I make shev bhaji inside my home I must make extra chapattis or bhakri ( / jawar or bajra roti). My mother use to create gravy masala of shevechi bhaji on pata- warwanta( ) always managed to get in Iron Kadhai ( lokhandi kadhai) . My mother was very patient lady, we sometimes accustomed to ask her at random to create this recipe and when in those days there's no ready-made Shev reaches home my mother managed to get with Sev maker . I still recall the taste of this tasty gravy. My mother was Gujarati but born and introduced in Maharashtra so both shev bhaji and sev tameta nu shaak was cooked inside my home. Shev tameta nu shaak comparatively takes a shorter period to prepare as rival shev bhaji. however for spicy food fans it’s a feast .Shev bhaji or shev rasa bhaji is created diversely in every areas of Maharashtra.

In Maharashtra should you travel by road you can aquire a nice spicy shev bhaji on roadside dhabas. If you wish to make Dhaba style shev bhaji just combine oil. red chilly powder and garam masala. They add less dry coconut .Well I add little oil within my shev bhaji to really make it little lower in calories. To create shev bhaji healthy in addition to tasty I've shared a number of my tips in the finish of the recipe.

In Khandesh this spicy recipe can also be known as as Shevanchi Lal Bhaji .Shev bhaji curry masala is ready with dry coconut, onion, garam masala, corriander powder etc. In authentic khandeshi style shev bhaji tomato isn't put in the curry. You can include Kala masala ( Khandeshi kala masala) or Kolhapuri garam masala or normal garam masala based on your taste in shev bhaji. Kolhapuri garam masala is pretty hot as rival kala masala or garam masala.
