Clay pot chicken recipe slanted door menu

For four to six servings

Seasoned soy sauce:
• 3 Tbsps. soy sauce
• 2 tsps. dark soy sauce
• 2 Tbsps. white-colored vinegar
• 1 Tablespoons of. granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon. fresh lemon juice

  1. Whisk 1/4 cup water, soy sauces, vinegar, sugar, and juice inside a bowl reserve.

Set up:
• 1/2 lb. chicken white meat, reduce 1" dice
• 1/2 lb. chicken leg meat, reduce 1" dice
• 1/2 teaspoon. garlic clove powder
• 1/2 teaspoon. kosher salt
• 1/2 teaspoon. freshly ground pepper
• 3 Tbsps. Chinese brown sugar chocolate, damaged into small pieces or 1/4 cup light brown sugar (see note below)
• 3 Tbsps. fish sauce

• one to two Thai chiles, minced
• 1 Tablespoons of. fresh ginger root, reduce fine julienne
• 1 clove garlic clove, minced
• steamed grain (for serving)
• two to three sprigs cilantro (for garnish)

Place chicken in hotel pan sprinkle with garlic clove powder, salt, and pepper cover with plastic wrap reserve.

Heat brown sugar chocolate in clay pot set over low heat prepare, stirring frequently, until sugar is melted and it has arrived at a sluggish boil carefully add fish sauce stir in seasoned soy sauce, chiles, ginger root, and garlic clove unwrap chicken increase saucepan stir to coat.

Bring mixture to some boil reduce heat to medium simmer until chicken is cooked through (eight to ten minutes) remove from heat reserve (keep warm).

For everyone, place some grain in serving bowls top with chicken and sauce garnish with cilantro.
