Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic clove, chopped
- 1 jalapeno, chopped
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- two to four cloves
- two tablespoons vegetable oil
- two tablespoons curry powder
- 1/14 cup water
- 1 chicken, reduce 8 pieces
- 4 medium taters, peeled and diced
- Kosher salt
- Steamed white-colored grain, for serving
Directions
Inside a mixer combine the onion, garlic clove, jalapeno, garam masala. cumin, and cloves. Process to create a chunky paste.
Heat the oil inside a large Nederlander oven over medium heat. Add some onion mixture, curry powder, and 1/4 cup water. Let fry four to five minutes.
Add chicken pieces, taters, and salt to taste. Add water to pay for, as much as 3 cups, and produce to some boil. Simmer before the chicken and taters are cooked through, about half an hour. Serve over grain.
