Plain paratha recipe vah chef butter chicken recipe
  • 225 g brown bread toast flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 30 ml melted butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 225 ml water, plus extra if required

Method

1. Inside a bowl, mix together the flour, melted butter and salt.

2. Add within the water and blend together to create a soft dough. Knead the dough for five minutes until smooth and elastic.

3. Wrap in cling film and hang aside to relax for 25 minutes.

4. Shape the rested paratha dough into 5cm balls. On the gently floured surface, unveil each ball to create a 10cm circle.

5. Brush each dough circle with melted with butter and mud with flour. Fold right into a semi-circle, brush with increased butter and flour, then fold in two again right into a triangular.

6. Unveil the triangles to 3mm thick circles.

7. Heat huge-based fry pan until hot. Add within the paraathas and fry-fry for thirty seconds somewhere.

8. While frying, brush the very best affiliate with butter. Switch over, and fry before the paratha begins to crisp.

9. Brush the brand new top affiliate with melted butter, switch and do this again, then remove in the pan and warm. Do this again until all of the parathas happen to be fried.
