Chocolate “Protein” Milkshake
- 2 tablespoons of cacao powder (10g)
- 1 cup Mori-Nu firm tofu (Click for: Soy-Free Version ) (240g)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla flavoring
- scant 1/4 teaspoon salt
- as much as 2 cups milk of preference (480g) (less for any thicker shake.)
- sweetener of preference: for example 2-3 tablespoons of liquid sweetener or sugar, or stevia extract to taste
- optional, to have an even more potent shake: 2 tablespoons of peanut butter or any other nut butter, or 1 tablespoons of veg or coconut oil (If while using nut butter option, it will likely be even greater in protein!)
Combine all things in a blender, and blend until super-smooth. This sounds amazing. I'm not one for protein powders either, but lately I've began using Juice Plus Complete powder, which isn’t a real protein powder, much more of an all-natural,grow based, no added filler, wholefoods powder, and it is vegan. you need to consider it and develop some recipies!!
