Chocolate flapjack recipe jamie oliver



Ingredients
  • • 250g butter, plus extra for greasing
  • • 150g mixed dried fruit, like cherries, cranberries, apricots or prunes
  • • optional: 3 bits of stem ginger root
  • • 4 tablespoons golden syrup
  • • 200g brown sugar
  • • 350g oatmeal

Flapjacks create a great breakfast if you are in a rush, and also the best factor about the subject is you can put whatever fruit you want inside them. A pinch or a couple of cinnamon within the mix is effective too. Create a big batch and they are utilized through the week for breakfasts or perhaps your lunchbox too.

• Preheat the oven to 150C/300F/gas 2
• Gently butter a 20cm x 30cm (or similar sized), 4cm deep baking tray

To prepare your flapjacks


• Bake within the hot oven for 40 to forty-five minutes
• Leave to awesome within the tin for fifteen minutes before cutting into portions having a sharp knife
• Do not take the person flapjacks from the tray yet, though - leave them until completely
