Chocolate fondue recipe with half and half

2/3 cup half-and-half
12 ounces milk chocolate or 1 package (11 1/2 ounces) milk choc chips (2 cups)
two tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur, kirsch, brandy or half-and-half
Dippers (below) or pound cake, if preferred


Heat half-and-half and milk chocolate in heavy 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth remove from heat. Stir in liqueur. Pour into fondue pot or chafing dish.

Spear Dippers or pound cake cubes with fondue forks use fondue. (If fondue becomes too thick, stir in a tiny bit of half-and-half.)

Marshmallows
Pound cake cubes
Bananas

Note: If chocolates is much more the way you like, substitute semisweet choc chips or sweet baking chocolate for that milk chocolate within this recipe. Cubes of pound cake, marshmallows or bananas make scrumptious dunkers with this wealthy fondue.
