Oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe healthy
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed, finely ground inside a spice grinder, or pre-ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brownish sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1 cup semisweet choc chips
Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 levels F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Whisk the flour, oatmeal, flaxseed, sodium bicarbonate, salt and cinnamon inside a bowl.

Beat the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar inside a large bowl having a mixer on medium-high-speed until fluffy, about 4 minutes. Beat within the eggs individually, beating well after each addition. Beat within the vanilla. Lessen the mixer speed to low add some flour mixture and beat until just combined, scraping lower the bowl when needed. Stir within the choc chips .

Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough to the prepared baking sheets, a couple of inches apart. Bake until golden brown, ten to twelve minutes. Allow the cookies awesome 3 minutes around the baking sheets, then transfer to racks to awesome completely.
