Peanut butter chocolate kiss cookies recipe
Ingredients
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons sodium bicarbonate
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter (not natural)
  • 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at 70 degrees
  • 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 3/4 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
  • 2 cups peanut butter chips
  • Your preferred jelly thinned having a a little liqueur (optional)
  • 48 to 60 chocolate hug candies
Directions

Adjust the oven racks towards the lower and upper thirds and preheat the oven to 375 levels F. Coat 2 baking sheets with cooking spray

Combine the flour, sodium bicarbonate and salt inside a medium bowl. Put aside.

Beat the peanut butter, butter and shortening inside a large bowl by having an electric mixer on medium high until smooth, about one minute. Add some brown sugar and then beat until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Add some eggs and vanilla and then beat until incorporated. Add some flour mixture in 2 batches and beat on medium until incorporated. Fold within the peanut butter chips.

Scoop out level tablespoons dough, roll into balls and space a couple of inches apart around the prepared baking sheets. (You will have to bake the cookies in batches permit the baking sheets to awesome among batches.)

Bake before the bottoms and edges from the cookies are golden brown however the middles continue to be soft, about ten minutes. (The cookies will bake a little once they emerge from the oven). Indent the nice and cozy cookies using the rounded bottom of the teaspoon. If using jelly, fill each indent with a few jelly. Top each having a chocolate hug chocolate.

Permit the cookies to awesome around the baking sheet for any couple of minutes after which transfer to some rack to awesome completely.
