This Flourless Chocolate Cake is simple, decadent, fudgy and scrumptious. Created using a secret component rather of flour. (This can be a backed conversation compiled by me with respect to Truva ®. The opinions and text are mine.)

What exactly are your Valentine’s Day plans? Would you prepare a large dinner? Create a fancy dessert? My hubby always informs me we’re not celebrating since it’s a Hallmark holiday and means nothing. But he always comes through and will get me something nice, like flowers along with a card.

I love to create a tasty dessert to see him and my boys. I’ve been messing around with ingredients recently within my baked goods. I’ve added avocado to chocolate to create healthier truffles and cookies and garbanzo beans to create healthier brownies and cookie dough to nibble on raw .

There’s something about interchanging ingredients to create a dish healthier. Sometimes I literally jump up and lower and perform a crazy dance if this all works out tasty! One dessert that’s been in my radar is flourless chocolate cake. I’ve seen recipes online for this and thought I will have to make my very own version. The end result? Probably the most incredible moist, fudgy, decadent cake that’s incredibly light and crumbly all simultaneously!

Using garbanzo beans instead of the flour is really a simple switch. Garbanzo beans add moisture without altering the flavour from the cake. And so they’re filled with protein.
