PREHEAT oven to 325F.
BUTTER and gently flour pan. Sift Swans Lower Cake Flour once then measure put aside.
In large mixing bowl, cream butter then progressively add sugar beating on medium speed until creamy. Add eggs, individually, beating just until blended after each addition. Add Swans Lower Cake Flour and high whipping cream alternately beating on low speed until just blended as over beating will yield a dry and high cake. Add vanilla for more potent flavor, add more 1 ½ teaspoon. vanilla flavoring. Pour into prepared pan.
BAKE approximately. one hour and 15-half an hour or until a lengthy tester placed in center of cake arrives completely clean. Awesome in pan on wire rack 15-twenty minutes. Remove from pan, and awesome completely on wire rack.
COMBINE powdered sugar and butter in medium size bowl. Stir by 50 percent Tablespoons of. of heavy cream. If preferred, add ¼ teaspoon. of almond extract or ½ teaspoon. of vanilla flavoring. Beat until smooth and creamy, adding more cream 1 Tablespoons of. at any given time if required. Drizzle over cooled cake.
