Ingredients
- 1/2 pound fresh asparagus
- Salt
- two tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Variation: Following the asparagus is drained, refresh immediately inside a bowl of cold water. This helps the asparagus to support the vibrant eco-friendly color. Serve the asparagus cold with vinaigrette.
Directions
Wash asparagus and trim off bottom of stems by a couple of inches. Inside a large skillet, produce 1/2 inch water to some rapid boil. Season water with salt and add some asparagus. Prepare the asparagus for just two-3 minutes or until vibrant eco-friendly and merely tender. Drain the asparagus and add butter towards the skillet. Stir within the zest and juice. Return the drained asparagus towards the skillet and toss to coat. Serve immediately
