Firmly pack frozen treats right into a foil-lined 9 inch round cake pan.
Cover and freeze a couple of hrs.
Combine flour, sugar, cacao, sodium bicarbonate, baking powder and salt in large mixer bowl.
Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil and vanilla.
Beat on medium speed 2 minutes.
Batter is going to be thin.
Pour batter into greased and floured 9 inch round cake pans.
Bake at 350 (180) F for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tester arrives clean.
Awesome ten minutes.
Remove from pans and awesome completely.
Place 1 cake layer upside lower on serving plate top with frozen treats unmolded from cake pan.
Place second cake layer top side up over frozen treats layer.
Lightly spread whipped cream on the top and sides of cake.
With decorator's tube or spoon, make border of whipped cream around fringe of top layer of cake.
Fill center with cherry cake filling.
Cover and freeze a minumum of one hour before serving.
