Candied nuts recipe with heavy cream
Ingredients
  • Caramelito Cookie:
  • 2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted, plus much more for greasing
  • 2 cups plus 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces caramel sauce, from the jar
  • 1 cup chopped semisweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Candied Nuts:
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1 cup pecans
  • Whipped Cream:
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, plus much more as needed to sweeten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
Directions

For that cookies: Preheat the oven to 350 levels F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.

Inside a large bowl, mix 2 cups flour, oatmeal, brown sugar. sodium bicarbonate and salt. Gradually add the butter before the mixture is crumbly. Transfer 1 / 2 of the mix towards the prepared baking dish and bake for eight to ten minutes. Pull in the oven let awesome for any couple of minutes.

Mix the rest of the 3 tablespoons flour using the caramel until smooth. Layer the chocolate, nuts and caramel around the baked cookie base. Add some caramel last. Add some remaining unbaked crumble on the top and bake yet another 12 minutes. Pull when slightly browning on the top.

For that candied nuts: Inside a saucepan over medium heat, reduce 1/2 cup water and also the sugar until it begins to crystallize or compares to evaporation. Stir within the cinnamon, salt and vanilla. Add some nuts and then mix until coated. Remove in the heat and let awesome.
