Orange sour cream loaf cake recipe

Yesterday, I purchased a loaf pan. It's my initial one. Personally i think like I am walking up on the planet. Being a big kid now. Becoming domesticated. My jeeze, how did this happen? I have made the decision to embrace my domestication responsibilities, and also have now gone on the loafing spree. Blueberry and beer and orange, my dear. Probably the most scrumptious loaf within my spree, may be the orange and sour cream loaf. It's sweet, and moist, and scrumptious. It's the perfect quantity of orange and awesome.


INGREDIENTS
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
zest of three oranges
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup essential olive oil
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoons of granulated sugar

GLAZE INGREDIENTS
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of orange juice

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Inside a stand mixer fitted using the paddle attachement, combine the sour cream, sugar, eggs, orange zest, vanilla, salt, essential olive oil, and baking powder.

Gradually add the flour until combined, fostering to not over mix. Pour the batter in to the loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick placed arrives clean.

As the cake is baking, add 1/4 cup orange juice and 1 tablespoons of of granulated sugar to some small saucepan and simmer over medium heat, stirring from time to time. Heat before the sugar is melted and also the liquid is obvious, roughly a few minutes. Take away the liquid from heat and awesome to 70 degrees.
