Cookie ice cream sandwiches recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. white-colored sugar
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 teaspoon. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. small choc chips
  • 1 gallon vanilla frozen treats, preferably Haagen Dazs, slightly softened

Directions

  1. Inside a large bowl, mix butter with brown and white-colored sugar. Add milk and vanilla and stir to mix. Stir in flour and salt. When fully combined, fold in choc chips.
  2. Line a sizable baking sheet pan with parchment, departing overhang on sides. Press mixture in to the pan, evening it whenever possible having a cutting board or any other flat working surface. Top having a second bit of parchment. Freeze until firm, one hour.
  3. Remove cookie dough from pan and put onto a cutting board. Slice the dough lower the middle. Spread half with softened vanilla frozen treats, then lightly put the partner on the top. Transfer to pan.
  4. Freeze for 4 more hrs, or overnight. Slice into sandwiches and serve immediately.
