So word should have been sent ahead to Palawan and that i was given an enormous plastic container full of possibly 1.5-2. kilos of the sampaloc chocolate shortly before I had been to return home. There is virtually no method in which I would finish 1.5 kilos of the wonderful stuff, so in Manila, I split the sampaloc bounty into several bags and sent them buddies and staff introduced them home too. If you're a big sampaloc fan, remember to do this version when you are getting an opportunity&... it's unusual and surprisingly different.

Can anybody PLEASE give a good recipe for candied sampaloc? My father likes the stuff but is doubtful about how exactly sanitary the manufacturers are once they process them then sell them commercially.
