I share many treats and desserts on my small blog, however it’s the household recipes which i expect to discussing probably the most. Becoming an adult, I resided within the same town for several years as my relatives, therefore we all grew to become very close. Holiday gatherings usually have featured trays of desserts. Grandma's Peppermint Puff Cookies
Yield: 3-4 dozen cookies
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 egg, divided
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint chocolate canes
- 3-4 dozen semi sweet chocolate morsels
Directions:
- Inside a mixing bowl, cream butter until smooth, a couple of minutes. Add vanilla and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Beat until creamy. Include egg YOLK. Gradually add flour and crushed chocolate canes.
- Mixture can be really crumbly at this time.
