Easy, nutritious, keeps for any lengthy time (inside a sealed container), easily "tweaked" to suit your preferences. A Genuine kid-pleaser. Ideal for getting eat your son or daughter's turn at preschool/daycare. Although it might be a good idea to omit the components that contains peanuts (when thinking about an option for nuts and concerning the peanut butter chips) because the allergy to peanuts is more and more common and potentially existence-threatening. Also ideal for a cooking activity with young children. wash their hands and allow them to throw handfulls from the ingredients together.
Ingredients Diet
- 1 cup Cheerios toasted oat cereal (honey nut, plain and apple cinnamon work just as well)
- 1 cup fish crackers or 1 cup other cheese crackers
- 1 cup cherry-flavored dried cranberries (or any other favorite dried fruit)
- 1 cup cashews or 1 cup other favorite nuts (although be familiar with children's potential allergy to peanuts)
- 1 cup miniature M&M's chocolate candies (or any other chocolate chocolate)
- 1 cup peanut butter chips or 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup miniature pretzel twists or 1 cup pretzel stick
what is bad? I added raisins, peanut M&Ms and honeycomb cerial (had them within the kitchen) overlooked the chips. Kids and that i loved it. It designed a great vehicle trip snack.
Awesome recipe! Initially the children switched up their noses at the idea of cranberries and nuts but we pressed on. They'd a great time which makes it. They really ate the cranberries and nuts and loved it. They polished from the whole batch and requested to create more. Thanks!
Required this around camping and also the kids really enjoyed it. Used honey nut cheerios, regular m&m's, plain fish, peanut butter chips, cherry craisins, small pretzel twists and overlooked the nuts.
