Freihofer s powdered donuts recipe

The snow storm helped me get it done.

On Tuesday, Washington D.C. was hit about 4-6 inches of snow, meaning a lot of my buddies got your day removed from work. They celebrated by holding a huge snowball fight in the heart of the town. Since my very own office doubles as my house, I didn't go ahead and take break from work… and for that reason I selected to celebrate the snow day with a different sort of snowball: homemade powdered sugar snowball donuts! If you’d prefer chocolate, begin to see the following:

Soft, light, sweet… the best of this is you can eat them without departing enhanced comfort of the kitchen.

Small Powdered Sugar Snowball Donuts

  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar treatment or white-colored vinegar
  • 2/3 cup milk of preference
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla flavoring
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of vegetable or melted coconut oil
  • 1 cup spelt, white-colored, or Arrowhead Mills gf flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar or xylitol
  • pinch uncut stevia OR 2 additional tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar or Sugar-Free Powdered Sugar

In a tiny bowl, whisk together the very first four ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350F and grease a small (or regular) donut pan or small muffin tin. Inside a large bowl, combine all remaining ingredients except the powdered sugar, and stir well. Pour wet into dry, stir until just evenly mixed, and immediately pour in to the donut pan. Bake 8 minutes, then let it awesome completely before removing in the trays. Pour the powdered sugar right into a deep bowl, then either dip the doughnuts in to the bowl or just sprinkle powdered sugar within the tops.
